These causes can be very different for every person, even though the condition might be the same. This article will talk about the different causes of hyperhidrosis, and how you might want to start treating it.

    There are 2 main types of hyperhidrosis. The first type is called primary hyperhidrosis, and is usually caused by the way your nervous system is built. This form of hyperhidrosis is usually caused by inheritance. The sweat glands can become overactive even when the body is at rest, causing excessive sweating for seemingly no reason at all. The excessive sweat will then be released at areas like the underarm, head, face, feet, or even the genital area.

    The second type of hyperhidrosis is secondary hyperhidrosis. This condition is usually caused by a hormonal problem eg. A woman going through menopause, or it could be a glandular problem. To find out the causes of hyperhidrosis is the first crucial step to treating hyperhidrosis.

    There are many treatment methods available to treat hyperhidrosis. However, you must understand each method carefully before making a decision, especially their respective side effects. Some of the cheaper methods include using deodorants, sprays or powders. But, as an ex-hyperhidrosis sufferer, these methods have provided me with very little relief. More expensive methods include botox injections and surgery, but these methods
